Luidsprekerfabrikant Cornered Audio uit Denemarken, de naam zegt het eigenlijk al, bouwt gepatenteerde luidsprekers die in de hoek geplaatst worden. De compacte aluminium behuizing heeft geen zichtbare ophangpunten of aansluitingen en is leverbaar in wit, zwart en geborsteld aluminium. Daar waar een reguliere speaker niet past vanwege vormgeving, formaat of klank biedt Cornered Audio hier een briljante oplossing. Of het nu gaat om een front, rear of center speaker, alle toepassingen zijn mogelijk. Uiteraard kunnen ze ook gewoon los op een plank, een kast of waar dan ook hun plaats krijgen. Vanwege het feit dat alle Cornered Audio speakers specifiek ontworpen zijn voor gebruik in een hoek, plafond of tegen een muur, is daar reeds met de klankafstemming en afstraalgedrag rekening gehouden. De klank is dan ook warm, vol en groots uit een bijzonder compacte behuizing. Door de hoge continue belastbaarheid (er is zelfs een versie die 120dB kan leveren!!) en makkelijke ruimtevullende eigenschappen zijn toepassingen in horeca, scholen etc. ook zeer eenvoudig en snel te realiseren. We waren oprecht verbaasd toen we de C5 voor het eerst hoorden. We zijn best iets gewend en leggen de lat qua sound hoog; de Cornered Audio C5 zorgde er binnen 10 seconden voor dat we allemaal met een grote grijns zaten te luisteren. En de prijs is daarbij ook nog bijzonder aantrekkelijk.

LS1 is a flexible line source speaker that offers an aesthetic approach to sound reinforcement in challenging venues. Two, four or six models can be flown in a straight vertical array, offering 50, 40 and 30-degree vertical coverage with throw beyond 35 meters. The rear mounted flying system is highly discreet adding to the aesthetic outlook. A powerful flyable subwoofer is available for the LS1. Six pieces LS1 deliveres up to 105 dB in 35 meters with Hi-Fi like sound quality and a very small foot print.
